House Churches

"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer."

Acts 2: 42

The primary context of church for The RIM is a spiritual family, a family with a passionate purpose and a laser-focused mission: to love the world in which we live and share the good news of Jesus. This is the heartbeat of our House Churches.  House Church is where worship, community and mission collide.   Our hope is that our House Churches are on the frontlines of mission; not the mission of The RIM Church, but the mission that God has put in the heart of every believer as they make disciples who make disciples.

Even in the name "House Church" we are trying to unconsciously remind ourselves that the Church doesn't exist within the four walls of a building.  The Church is the people of God scattered across our city, pursing Gospel saturation into every nook and cranny of San Antonio.
